Happy new week from SELFguarding.
SELFguarding has been pretty busy these last few months, which is why there was no January Newsletter. Now that it’s almost the end of February, I wanted to make sure you all got another update this month, so here goes…
Unfortunately BETTER has pulled out of marketing SELFguarding in their leisure centres, which is a shame. But I have made connections with leaders at Tower Hamlets Council, who will be taking over the management of all BETTER leisure centres in Tower Hamlets in 2024. I am having active discussions with them about marketing SELFguarding in all Tower Hamlets leisure centres from 2024. I’ll keep you all posted on that progress.
The other great news is that Kekoa Football and MileEndCamp Athletics will still be offering 2 free training sessions for any kid when they take and pass The Hayley’s Course.
And last but not least, SELFguarding is now in active talks with our first primary school, so that younger kids can also take the Hayley’s Course.
So its been a slow but positive year for us so far. We’re still moving towards our ultimate goal of spreading the word of SELFguarding. Once again thank you all for your continued support.
